ITINERARY
ITANDA FALLS, SOURCE OF THE NILE AND WHITE WATER RAFTING
Day 1: Itanda falls and Source of the Nile
Early morning at around 06:30hrs, the Guide will pick you from your place of accommodation and shall shortly brief you on a 2 days Jinja safari for less than 5minutes before the departure.
Thereafter, breakfast shall embark on the journey to Jinja through Kampala via lugazi sugar cane plantations and Kasaku tea,then continue through the Mabira Forest creating a cool view of the green vegetation, but due to time there will be no stopover in these places.
As you get close to the bridge at the Nile River there are some restrictions and don’ts governing this area, some of them are; do not take photos, no stopovers and others.
Therefore, while in the vehicle shall cross the Nile River on the bridge and after a few minutes’ drive will branch off to a dirt road (Ambarcort) proceeding to Itanda falls in a place known as Budondo.
You will check in at Itanda Falls, be handed over to the stationed guide at Itanda Falls who is well versed with the history of place. After a short briefing, shall be guided a round with a possibility of asking questions.
After will get back to back to Jinja town, as we get to the town where we shall spend 1 hour having Lunch and enough time to stretch a bit.
After lunch, shall proceed to the Source of the Nile where you will have a boat cruise as you expect to view different things like monkeys and different species of birds and many others.
At the check in entry, shall be handed over to a stationed guide to take you around the place at same time explaining to you accordingly. As you’re being taken through the craft shops to the Mahati Magandi monument, the guide will elaborate more about the entire place and the history of the monument.
There after shall get close to the Nile River with an experience of a cool environment and as you’re viewing at it, history about the Nile River will be rendered to you.
Later shall leave the station and getting back to the entrance to check out, proceeding to your preferred accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full Day White water rafting
With an early morning breakfast, shall meet up with the rafting team, attend a briefing session after which you will get into the vehicle and drive to the starting point where you will be taken through a brief exercise to familiarize yourself with the rafting experience.
You will make a choice between grades 3 and grade 5 rapids, and you will begin your adventure with lunch break after the experience.
In the evening your driver/guide will be ready to transfer you back to your preferred place of accommodation. Only to leave you with memories about the
